Our Team

Mark Saul, Ph.D., is a veteran mathematics educator with over five decades of experience in teaching, administration, and competition leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from NYU and a B.A. from Columbia University, and has led organizations including the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival, the MAA's competitions program, and NYU's Center for Mathematical Talent, alongside long tenures teaching at Bronx High School of Science and Bronxville High School. He has served as a delegate and judge for the International Mathematical Olympiad, consulted on math education programs across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and was inducted into the New York State Mathematics Educators' Hall of Fame in 2016. He is a prolific author and translator of works on mathematics education, including books by Jacques Hadamard and Israel Gelfand.
